my name is Nancy Miles and I have been a school nurse with Harlandale
Independent School District since 1998. I believe optimal learning requires
good emotional and physical health. I am committed to each student’s
individual development and safety.
My goal is to promote and support life-long
positive health habits to assist our students to achieve their maximum
learning potential; therefore becoming well-rounded, productive, and
responsible members of society.

A Word from the Nurse:
The school nurse administers first aid only. She/He does not
diagnose illnesses, but takes note of symptoms and notifies the
parent/guardian of her/his observations.
